Out in the Country…
What a wonderful day this turned out to be! It didn’t start out very well but I decided to just get out and wander.
The sun was out and it wasn’t too cold and I just decided to take a county road to see what I could see.
I don’t know why it is that I’m always ‘looking for a picture’. I don’t know how to describe it other than when I saw this bunch, I hit the brakes.
They were just standing there staring looking like something out of a wild west movie.
I couldn’t tell you how thrilled I was to stumble on this scene.
I was so tickled I later wound up with a double-exposure of some trees I was tinkering with.
I also took some more photographs of that wavey grass, and the San Gabriel River.
More waves of grain. I love the patterns they make. It was a good day for photography.
That’s all for now, my friends. Thank you so very much for stopping by!
Peace, Love, and The Wild, Wild, West,

Wow. Gorgeous pictures, Bob! Do you do much to boost saturation or play with hue? The longhorns one looks like a classical painting.

I have to admit on some I do a little post-processing- the others are a technique called “HDR” (High Dynamic Range)- It works if I could get them to hold perfectly still while I take at least 3 shots; One normal, One under exposed by 2 stops and the other over exposed by 2 stops. I then merge them together so all the colors come out.

Thank you so much sidney! Truth be told I’m not use to getting comments at all other than those links that go to spam sites. This blogging challenge is quite a treat!

I know JUST what you mean about always looking for a picture. Ive been an ebay seller for so long, that I can’t help looking at things for what they might be worth, or how I might market them.
